A History of Quality Experience to Train Future Plumbers

Beginning with our owner, Tony Halterman, who has more than 30 years of experience in the plumbing industry, you can trust Tony's Plumbing & Heating to provide you with the right service. Our company started in 2010 as a small plumbing business with a goal of providing the highest level of service to residential and commercial clients.

Today, we have more than 20 employees working to meet the plumbing needs of customers throughout Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Waverly and the surrounding area. And while we may have grown in size, our integrity and commitment to getting the job done has remained the same. All of our plumbers are have their A.O. Smith certification to work on your water heating system and are OSHA trained and certified.

Plumber Apprenticeship Program

It takes a lot to become a certified as a Journeyman Plumber, starting with four years of schooling and classes. On top of all that education, plumbers need to have an opportunity to put their knowledge to use, and that’s where we come in.

At Tony's Plumbing & Heating, we believe in investing in plumbers looking for an apprenticeship and a path to becoming a Master Plumber. We will pay for your schooling, give you a job to provide the training you need and pay you while you’re going through school. Once you’re finished with your apprenticeship, we will evaluate you for a full-time position as a Journeyman Plumber.
